In-Season Support

Our coaches spend the fall doing what we believe every great coach should do—continuing to be athletes. While we build toward marathons, local races, and new personal goals, we remain committed to supporting yours.

September 8 – November 9

THE WORK DOESN’T STOP WHEN SUMMER DOES.

In-SEason Support

Individualized training

1

Our training philosophy prioritizes athletes as individuals, so all our athletes receive weekly personalized training plans. Athletes gain access to their TrainingPeaks account prior to their first team practice. Learn more about our training philosophy here.

Performance Sessions

2

Our in-person sessions are intentionally flexible and tailored toward the athlete’s goals (strength, speed, form, etc.). Attend one to three sessions each week depending on your schedule, recovery, racing, and goals.

Competitive Advantage

3

Our coaches bring their knowledge from collegiate or professional running and their community of nutritionists, sports psychologists, and physical therapists to High South. We regularly tap these connections to support our athlete’s development.

RACE-Day Support

4

Although you compete with your school throughout the fall, your coaching doesn't stop on race day. We'll help you develop a race plan, prepare mentally, review performances afterward, and, when possible, cheer you on in person at key meets.

How It Works

For our returning High South athletes, this is the next chapter. Throughout the fall, we'll continue working together with individualized coaching, ongoing communication, and performance sessions designed to complement your school’s training.

Every athlete's schedule is different. Some weeks you may join us once. Other weeks, two or three times. We'll help you determine what makes the most sense based on your training, racing, recovery, and goals.

The objective isn't to do more → It's to fill the gaps.

Registration opens in August. If you'd like to continue with High South this fall, start by letting your coach know. Together we'll build a plan around your season, and determine what level of support makes the most sense for you.
